Care Guide
Good fabric lasts as long as you let it. Three rules cover almost everything: wash cool, skip the dryer, keep it out of long direct sun when drying.
Towelling (polo & tee)
- Machine wash at 30°C with similar colours
- No fabric softener — it coats the loops and kills absorbency
- Air dry; tumble dry low only when you must
- Rinse after sea water when you can — salt stiffens the pile
Linen
- Machine wash at 30°C, gentle cycle
- Hang to dry slightly damp, then the wrinkles fall out on the body — that's the charm
- Iron warm if you want it sharp; we never do
Swim shorts
- Rinse in fresh water after every swim — salt and chlorine fade the print
- Wash at 30°C, air dry in shade
- Don't wring the fabric; press water out gently
Beach bag
- Spot clean with mild soap and water
- Shake the sand out — some will stay; consider it a souvenir
